The event kicked off Friday afternoon with speeches from Mike Sykes, the company's CEO; Mayor Mark Burroughs; Diane Helms from the office of state Sen. Craig Estes, R-Wichita Falls; and airport manager Quentin Hix.
The festivities continued Saturday with aircraft exhibits and displays by aviation vendors. AmSafe Aviation's Richard Heitzman discussed inflatable seat belts on airplanes, and David Harsay of Raisbeck Engineering explained the enhancements to the Beechcraft King Air. Michael Combs talked about his 'round-the-U.S. "Flight for the Human Spirit," which he embarked on last April in an effort to celebrate life and the pursuit of one's dreams.

The grand-prize winner will receive a year's worth of free groceries or diapers. In a recent news release, Stan Morton, president of the Denton hospital, said the website was designed to "be a one-stop resource for moms to find trusted health information and also to find other moms in their community with whom to interact."
The site offers information about pregnancy, infertility, baby care, breastfeeding and general health tips.
A Texas Health Moms page is also available on Facebook and can be found by searching for the group's name.

The MetLife award comes about two months after Muniz was named Credit Union Financial Group's Agent of the Year for 2010.

Guyer High School's second annual High Octane Chili Cookoff and Car Show will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at the school, 7501 Teasley Lane.
The event will benefit Guyer's orchestra and band.
