The one thing I enjoy most about my work is: meeting lots of interesting people and taking the weight of dealing with taxes off their minds.

My business philosophy is: Honesty and integrity will get me through anything.

If I could, I’d be: the person who names new crayons. Inchworm, jazzberry jam, neon carrot — who comes up with this stuff?

I’m so sick of: breaks in television seasons.

The four guests at my fantasy dinner party would be: my dad, who is no longer with us, and the rest of my family.

My hobbies are: I wish I could break the accountant stereotype and say something crazy like mountain climbing, but I enjoy different types of puzzles, cross-stitching and reading.

The last book I read was: The Reckoning by Kelly Armstrong. It’s a bit embarrassing, but I like to do as little thinking as possible when I read to relax.

I wish I knew how to: play the piano, like my big brother.

My worst habit is: putting off projects that I am worried about.

Nobody knows I: sing show tunes, loudly, when I am home alone.

The person I most admire is: my mother, for always keeping everything together and looking perfect.

My guilty pleasure is: silly games on my phone.

I drive a: GMC Envoy.

I’d like to be driving: an electric car.

My favorite restaurant is: Mi Casita. Got to love that they have Taco Tuesdays and Thursdays!

I’m happiest when: I’m at home relaxing with my husband and dogs.

I regret: not staying close with friends from high school in St. Louis.

If I could change one thing about Denton, it would be: no more one-way streets!

When I retire, I plan to: drive across America in a camper.

Community activities: treasurer of the Denton Holiday Lighting Festival Association.
