The one thing I enjoy most about my work is: being a part of something bigger than myself.

My business philosophy is: Always find ways to say yes, until you have to say no, and then do it with compassion and problem-solving in mind.

If I could, I’d be a: fashion designer.

I’m so sick of: people who repeatedly see themselves as victims.

The four guests at my fantasy dinner party would be: author Diana Gabaldon, filmmaker/activist Michael Moore, President Bill Clinton and designer Coco Chanel.

My hobbies are: yoga, exercise, reading, listening to music and fashion.

The last book I read was: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.

I wish I knew how to: speak Spanish fluently.

My worst habit is: thinking that I know what is best for someone else. I regularly remind myself that I only know life from my perspective.

Nobody knows I: carry spiders outside. I don’t kill them.

The person I most admire is: my sister, Dawn Pryor. She makes balancing family, job and friends look easy.

My guilty pleasure is: watching TV. I love TV!

I drive a: Nissan Murano.

I’d like to be driving a: bike, but I’m afraid to drive it in traffic.

I’m happiest when: I am with my husband and family on the beach.

I regret: as a teenager, being unkind to others out of jealousy and fear.

If I won the lottery, here’s what I’d do just for me: Buy a patch of land and put houses on it for my husband and me and each of my children.

If I could change one thing about Denton, it would be: to save more trees around new development.

When I retire, I plan to: cook dinner most nights again.

Community activities: member of First Presbyterian Church; former board president and volunteer for Denton Christian Preschool; member of Denton Benefit League, Texas State Employees Union and member the UNT Mean Green Club
