The one thing I enjoy most about my work is: being creative. I describe what I do as creative bureaucracy.
My business philosophy is: to cut through the red tape so teachers can teach.
If I could, I’d be a: workshop presenter for educators.
I’m so sick of: the misplaced emphasis on standardized testing and the subsequent bashing of committed and dedicated educators.
The four guests at my fantasy dinner party would be: my wife, Brené Brown, Seth Godin and Daniel Pink.
My hobbies are: reading, creating presentations and traveling with my wife.
The last book I read was: Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead by Brené Brown.
I wish I knew how to: be self-compassionate.
My worst habit is: being an imperfect perfectionist with a side of OCD.
Nobody knows I: I’d say not many know I’m introverted. I call myself an extroverted introvert.
The person I most admire is: my wife.
My guilty pleasure is: traveling to places we’ve never been without a plan.
I drive a: black Toyota Tacoma.
I’d like to be driving a: 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 Fastback.
My favorite restaurant is: hard to narrow down to one.
I regret: filling out this survey. LOL. Actually, I regret nothing as I would not be who I am today.
If I could change one thing about Denton, it would be: the on and off ramps on I-35.
When I retire, I plan to: travel the states providing professional development and travel outside the country with my wife.
Community activities: I chair the Denton ISD Educational Improvement Council.
