The one thing I enjoy most about my work is: teaching students and faculty about the great resources and services UNT Libraries offers.

My business philosophy is: think strategically, communicate effectively and build mutually beneficial relationships.

If I could, I’d be a: daredevil trick rider in a Wild West show.

I’m so sick of: people’s intolerance of others’ social and political beliefs.

The four guests at my fantasy dinner party would be: Dorothy Parker, Mark Twain, Winston Churchill and Ann Richards.

My hobbies are: I am currently pursuing my Master of Public Administration degree at UNT — that’s my only hobby!

The last book I read was: Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff.

I wish I knew how to: sail.

My worst habit is: being impatient.

Nobody knows I: shoot a recurve bow and love target archery.

The person I most admire is: my grandfather, Thos. D. Murphy Jr.

My guilty pleasure is: reading historical fiction when I ought to be studying.

I drive a: 2011 Cadillac SRX.

I’d like to be driving a: C3 Corvette.

My favorite restaurant is: La Fogata in San Antonio.

I’m happiest when: I’m with my husband and our sons.

I regret: not knowing three of my four grandparents due to their untimely deaths.

If I won the lottery, here’s what I’d do just for me: Travel the globe to every destination I’ve ever dreamed of visiting.

If I could change one thing about Denton, it would be: to see a broader group of citizens involved in Denton’s community, nonprofit and political leadership.

When I retire, I plan to: be an outrageous old lady.
