If you haven’t heard of Cafe Brazil, you might want to look it up.
According to their Facebook page, Cafe Brazil is coming to Denton at 501 W. University Drive on the southwest corner of University Drive and Carroll Boulevard.
Though the note only says, “coming soon,” the eatery is well known in Dallas and surrounding communities for its coffee blends and breakfasts at 10 locations.
The chain, which also offers sandwiches, salads and more started in 1991 and has continued to grow, spreading north for the first time into Denton.

The Wildwood Inn has rolled out its new winter menu, offering dinner by reservation only from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 23-25 and Jan. 30-Feb.1.
The menu features starters like Brie en Croute with rosemary honey and French baquette to crab cakes with saffron lemon aioti and more.
The winter menu and dinner by reservation unveiled Thursday at the restaurant at 2602 Lillian Miller Parkway under the oversight of Sarah Kettelhut, executive chef, according to a news release.

DATCU recently announced it paid $1.09 million to member owners Jan. 1 in a news release. The one-time dividend was approved by the board Dec. 17 and was the largest paid in the financial institution’s history, according to the release. It is the fifth year in a row that DATCU has distributed bonuses.
