Crepe shop opening at Golden Triangle Mall

Monkey Crepe Cafe will open its first storefront later this month in Golden Triangle Mall, joining the mall’s food court vendors.

The company has been in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for more than 10 years, selling crepes at Canton’s First Monday Trade Days and at Dallas Market Center events and catering special events.

In addition to crepes, the restaurant will also have sandwiches, salads and smoothies. The cafe is scheduled to open Saturday.

Golden Triangle Mall opened its renovated food court earlier this year, and the mall’s vendors currently offer pizza, Asian food, ice cream and smoothies.

New business concept opens at Lewisville mall

An ATM-like service for wet cellphones has opened at Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville, where a machine will dry out phones that have gotten wet.

Within two to three days of getting a cellphone wet, users can put the phone in the DryBox Rescue System for 30 minutes, and all moisture will be removed, according to the business.

The process will cost $20 to $50, and inventors say the success rate for the service is over 70 percent.
