The one thing I enjoy most about my work is: helping my students reach their full potential.

My business philosophy is: I try to allow my students to find their place within the framework of the Japanese martial art of aikido.

If I could, I'd be a: full-time aikido instructor and comic book artist.

I'm so sick of: people who are looking for easy answers to hard questions.

The four guests at my fantasy dinner party would be: Morihei Ueshiba, founder of aikido; graphic novel artist Paul Pope; actress Olivia Wilde; and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

My hobbies are: making art, aikido and Brazilian jujitsu.

The last book I read was: Blood Meridian: Or the Evening Redness in the West by Cormac McCarthy.

I wish I knew how to: gain weight.

My worst habit is: thinking of the worst possible endings to prepare for future tasks.

The person I most admire is: anyone who is living their dream while making the world a better place.

My guilty pleasure is: Dexter.

I drive a: Kia Spectra.

I'd like to be driving a: bicycle, because that would mean I'm not in a hurry and the weather is nice.

My favorite restaurant is: Oriental Garden.

I'm happiest when: I'm making art or training aikido.

I regret: nothing. Your arms will get heavy holding your past sins over your head.

If I won the lottery, here's what I'd do just for me: travel to Japan for an extended stay.

If I could change one thing about Denton, it would be: better public transportation and more acceptance of bike lanes and bike culture.

When I retire, I plan to: never retire!
