Name: Zahid Naqvi

Occupation: co-owner and manager of CPR Cell Phone Repair in Little Elm

Birth date and place: Jan. 28; Pakistan

The one thing I enjoy most about my work is: customer satisfaction above all. Frequently we receive phones with a badly damaged screen. When customers come in to pick up their phone and they see a new looking phone in place of the previously smashed screen, their face just lights up. That makes my day every time.

My business philosophy is: If a customer walks out of my store thinking, “These guys really took care of my phone/game system/iPad,” then I have accomplished my goal.

If I could, I’d be: an architect.

I’m so sick of: the election season. Can we fast-forward to January?

The four guests at my fantasy dinner party would be: Nelson Mandela, Faiz Ahmed Faiz (poet extraordinaire from Pakistan), Sam Malouf (probably the most well-known furniture maker in the USA) and Steve Jobs.

My hobbies are: woodworking and anything outdoors (camping, hiking, cycling).

The last book I read was: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

I wish I knew how to: play golf.

My worst habit is: I am a stress eater.

Nobody knows I: was top-seeded in Arkansas at my U.S. Tennis Association NTRP level for two years in a row.

The person I most admire is: Nelson Mandela, for his perseverance despite all the odds.

My guilty pleasure is: Ahh! Chocolate.

I drive a: Toyota Sienna

I’d like to be driving a: Bugatti Veyron, but I’ll settle for a Toyota Tundra.

My favorite restaurant is: our kitchen table for a meal with the family.

I’m happiest when: I am out in nature hiking or cycling.

If I won the lottery, here’s what I’d do just for me: Set up an air-conditioned woodworking shop.

If I could change one thing about Denton, it would be: Nothing, what’s wrong with Denton?

When I retire, I plan to: travel, do woodworking, read a bunch of books and spoil my grandkids.

Community activities: member of Frisco Chamber of Commerce and Little Elm Chamber of Commerce; supporter of Little High School football and Lone Star High School football; and volunteer with a Dallas refugee committee, Salvation Army soup kitchen and IILM youth group.
