The one thing I enjoy most about my work is: having the opportunity to help people.

My business philosophy is: If you take the time to listen to what your client needs, you can help them find the best solution.

If I could, I’d be a: singer-songwriter.

I’m so sick of: I don’t dwell on things — you’ve got to either make it better, or get over it.

The four guests at my fantasy dinner party would be: Louis C.K., Warren Buffett, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Paul McCartney.

My hobbies are: reading and following my favorite sports teams.

The last book I read was: Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut.

I wish I knew how to: play the piano like a pro.

My worst habit is: biting my fingernails.

Nobody knows I: was a member of the Texas Boys Choir.

The person I most admire is: my mom, Jane Vaughan, of Arlington. I’m constantly amazed at how she finds the time and energy to do all that she does. I aspire to be more like her.

My guilty pleasure is: chips and queso.

I drive a: 2005 Volvo.

I’d like to be driving a: 1962 Impala.

My favorite restaurant is: in Denton, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop; in the metroplex, Bob’s Steak & Chop House.

I’m happiest when: people around me are laughing at a joke I told.

I regret: telling bad jokes.

If I won the lottery, here’s what I’d do just for me: three-month-long around-the-world vacation.

If I could change one thing about Denton, it would be: to improve the roads.

When I retire, I plan to: finally get around to finishing that honey-do list.
