In its annual Hospital Safety Grades, the Leapfrog Group gave Medical City Denton an A, the highest grade available.
The safety survey looks at hospital performance in preventing medical errors, infections and practices to prevent errors. In total, it looks at 27 different measures of publicly available data to create the scores.
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton earned a C, due to problems they've had in the past year. They scored in the "red" for things like leaving dangerous objects in a patient's body, patients contracting infections and death from treatable complications.
