UPS inducts four county drivers into Circle of Honor

The United Parcel Service (UPS) has inducted four Denton County drivers into its Circle of Honor, an honorary organization for company truck drivers who have logged 25 or more years of accident-free driving.

Among the 128 drivers in Texas inducted into the Circle of Honor are Darrell Herr of Muenster, who works in Denton; Randal Sikes of Gainesville, who works in Denton; Phillip Kretchmar of Lewisville, who works in Fort Worth; and Delbert Jones of Lewisville, who works at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Texas boasts 869 Circle of Honor drivers with a combined 21,596 years of accident-free driving, according to a UPS news release issued this week. Arturo Martinez of El Paso and Jon Nelson of Houston are the state's senior-most safe drivers, each with 44 years of accident-free driving. There are 7,799 full-time UPS drivers in Texas.
