9 a.m. — Bonnie and Clyde Days in downtown Pilot Point. Festival includes a parade, bank robbery re-enactment at noon, soapbox races at 1 p.m., food and vendors, live music and entertainment, children’s activities and more. E-mail or call 940-686-6488.

10 a.m. to noon — Instrument Petting Zoo for elementary-aged children, in the Recital Hall at UNT’s Music Building, at Avenue C and Chestnut Street. Event begins with a concert by graduate performance majors; then, children will be invited to explore instruments. Free. Visit

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — “Pumpkin Patch Mania” at the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St., for kids ages 5 to 11. Kids will create Halloween crafts before heading to a local pumpkin patch for a hay ride, bounce house, petting zoo and more. Fee is $20 per child. 7 to 9:30 p.m. — Friends of the Lake Cities Library bingo fundraiser in the community room of Lake Dallas City Hall, 212 Main St. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10, which includes five bingo cards. Bingo daubers and refreshments will be sold.
