8 a.m. to 1 p.m. — The 28th annual Texas Storytelling Festival features storytelling concerts, workshops and story swaps at the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St. Individual concert tickets are available. Visit or call 940-380-9320.

10 a.m. to 2 a.m. — Final day of 35 Denton, a four-day music festival, with shows and events at two outdoor stages and 10 venues in downtown Denton. Sunday’s artists include Chelsea Light Moving, Reigning Sound, Thee Oh Sees and more. Registration will be from 2 to 10 p.m. at the main entrance, at Austin and Hickory streets.
