Professor to spend year at War College

University of North Texas history professor Robert M. Citino will spend the 2013-14 school year at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pa., as a visiting professor in the Department of National Security and Strategy.

Citino, a distinguished military historian, will teach core and elective courses in the department and conduct college-wide lectures and presentations. He will also lead faculty research and writing efforts to publish at least two case studies.

In addition to teaching and researching at the college, Citino will review and recommend ways to improve the curriculum and consult with the dean of the college’s School of Strategic Landpower to recruit leaders and scholars of history to speak within the college community.
