Chambers of Pilot Point; and Holly K. Jenkins of Shady Shores.
Additionally at Texas State University, local students were named to the dean’s list for maintaining a 3.5 grade-point average or above for the spring semester, including Melissa A. Bowman of Argyle; Madison Presley of Aubrey; Erika N. Abernathy of Bartonville; Felicia Mary Lynch, Olivia J. Adams, Tara Jo Bradley, Chelsea L. Lauderdale, Jana A. Ercilla, Alexandria D. Smerdon, Nicole K. Starkey, Nicole Stahr Beisel and Brianna Starr Hamilton, all of Denton; Katherine Marie Martin of Double Oak; Amanda Nicole Edwards of Lake Dallas; Charles J. Doffing of the Lantana area; Halston Alexa Smith of Little Elm; Rebecca Elizabeth Soble and Matthew Isaiah Perry, both of Little Elm; Justin M. Thara Ali Said of Denton was named to the spring dean’s list at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, S.D., for maintaining a GPA above 3.5.
Michael P. Giulietti of Denton will receive his master’s degree in applied anthropology from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore., on June 14.
