Student group finalist for chapter of the year
The UNT chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists is one of three nationwide nominated for Student Chapter of the Year.
The chapter was nominated because of activism on campus such as holding seminars that are open to the community and also taking environmental initiatives, like campus clean-up events.
At the NABJ 40th convention and career fair in August, the winning student chapter will be announced.
