Clothing website CEO to speak at UNT
The founding chief executive officer of True Fit, a digital resource to help shoppers figure out what their sizing will be in different stores and clothing brands, will lead a talk at the Executive and Scholar Lecture Series.
Bill Adler, along with Tammy Kinley, a professor in merchandising at UNT, will talk about size discrepancies and its impact on shoppers self-esteem and body image for “One Size Does Not Fit All.” Adler has raised more than $30 million in funding to build a data-discovery platform, Genome, to footwear and clothing sizing worldwide.
The lecture is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Nov. 16 in Room 314, the ballroom, in the University Union.
Tickets to the lecture are $50 for the general public and $25 for students who do not attend UNT. Faculty, students and staff at UNT can attend for free. Tickets are available for purchase through Lisa Wallace at 940-369-7051 or email@example.com.
