A new Mobile Go Center will help North Central Texas College provide on-site job training services to area businesses.
The portable center is part of the Adult and Continuing Education division at NCTC, and will officially launch Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the Corinth campus. The trailer attaches to the back of a pickup and is essentially a portable classroom.
The trailer has laptops and display screens so a classroom can be set up in any parking lot. It was created with a grant from the Texas Pioneer Foundation, an private foundation that aims to improve the quality of education in Texas.
The launch of the Mobile Go Center is set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 1500 N. Corinth St. in Corinth.
