Psychology honor society wins regional award

During the Southwestern Psychological Association's annual conference, TWU students were recognized with the 2017 Alberta Johnson/Ruth Hubbard Cousins Building Bonds Collaboration Award.

The award recognized students from TWU, the University of Central Arkansas and Collin College after they created a collaborative workshop. The combined presentation at this year's annual conference was titled "The Gritty Team: Passion, Purpose and Success."

The award is designed to recognize students who work together through their different Psi Chi chapters, an honor society for psychology majors. Each chapter recognized with the award gets a plaque and a $100 check.
