Enrollment at the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University was essentially flat this year, with UNT ticking upward and TWU dipping slightly.
UNT has 38,121 students enrolled this fall, just 148 students more than last year's enrollment of 37,973.
TWU's Denton campus held at 12,835 students, or 82 students below last year's total enrollment of 12,917. Between the three campuses in Denton, Dallas and Houston, TWU now has 15,472 students in classes, down from last year's total of 15,665.
TWU officials are still trying to assess the effect, if any, of Hurricane Harvey on enrollment, according to university spokeswoman Amanda Simpson.
