Today is last chance to register for the Fort Worth Canoe Trip from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 25. Participants will tour the West Fork of the Trinity River with a Fort Worth Nature Center naturalist to view ducks, herons, beavers, bald eagles and more. Tennis enthusiasts and beginners can burn up to 600 calories in one hour in Goldfield's Cardio Tennis from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 11 through March 3. Kids ages 4 to 7 can begin skateboarding in a miniature clinic from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 18 at the skate park, 2400 Long Road. Participants need to bring a skateboard, a helmet, water and a snack. Register in advance for $20 by visiting www.dentonparks.com  or by calling 940-349-7275.
