The Visual Arts Society of Texas has opened its annual members’ exhibition at the Cora Stafford Gallery at the University of North Texas.
The show features paintings, photography and mixed-media artwork. The pieces were selected by juror Elaine Taylor. Taylor is the gallery manager of the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, where she oversees more than 70 exhibits annually in nine galleries and runs an artists’ membership program, the Texas Artists Coalition, which she founded. She also teaches computer graphics at North Lake College in Irving. Taylor earned graduate degrees in art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The exhibit will run through July 20. Gallery hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The Cora Stafford Gallery is located in UNT’s Oak Street Hall, 1120 W. Oak St.
