In Sundown Collaborative Theatre’s latest show, things aren’t so simple as “the devil made me do it.” The 7 examines the age-old stumper: What is at the root of human sin? A small cast considers the question through music, original text and movement. All of these modes of storytelling are framed through Greek mythology. No one in the audience can escape the personal implications of The 7, because if you’re human, you’ve crossed swords with wrath, envy, greed, lust, laziness, gluttony and pride. Performances are at 8 p.m. this Friday through Sunday and Sept. 20-23 at Green Space Arts Collective, 529 Malone St. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for students with a valid school ID. Tickets are available at the door. The cast is, from left: Tashina Richardson, Marti Etheridge, Jerome Beck, George Ferrie, Candace Cockerham, Nicholas Ross and Kelsey Macke.
