Bring your blankets and chairs for a free movie under the stars on Friday in Quakertown Park, 321 E. McKinney St. The fun will begin at 7 p.m. with a free marshmallow roast and crafts, followed by the 8 p.m. showing of The Goonies on a giant screen. Low-priced concessions will be sold. Last chance to register for the introductory skateboarding clinic from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Skate Works skate park, next to Water Works Park on Long Road at Sherman Drive and Loop 288. The class is for beginners, ages 6 and older, and will cover the basics of riding and introduce students to the equipment. Students will need to bring a skateboard, a helmet, water and a snack. •  Les Mills BodyPump, a 60-minute barbell workout, at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday;

•  Zumba, a low-impact, 60-minute workout that uses Latin rhythms, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday; and

•  Les Mills BodyFlow, a 60-minute holistic workout that combines yoga, tai chi and Pilates, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18.

•  “Beginning French” on Wednesdays, Oct. 17 through Nov. 14, for ages 6 to 8 from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m. and for ages 9 to 13 from 6:30 to 7:20 p.m.
