Film of Led Zeppelin reunion in theaters

A concert film reuniting founding members of rock band Led Zeppelin in 2007 will be screened at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 17 and 18, at Denton’s Cinemark 14.

Led Zeppelin: Celebration Day, presented by NCM Fathom Events and Omniverse Vision documents the band’s first headline show in 27 years, which took place in December 2007 at London’s O2 Arena.

Founding members John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant reunite and are joined by Jason Bonham — son of the group’s late drummer John Bonham — to perform 16 hits from the band’s catalog throughout the more than two-hour film.

Led Zeppelin’s headline performance was part of a tribute concert for Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun.

For two nights only, the movie is being screened in more than 200 select theaters nationwide.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.fathomevents.com or at the box office. Tickets cost $14 for adults, $13 for students and seniors, and $12 for children.

Cinemark 14 is located at 2825 Wind River Lane in Denton.
