My Little Valentine Family Dance will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. Self-defense techniques for women will be taught from 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays at North Lakes Recreation Center, 2001 W. Windsor Drive.
