3P Challenge: Paddle, Pound and Pedal your way across Denton’s Greenbelt on March 16. This event includes running, biking and canoeing on the Ray Roberts Lake Greenbelt. Teams of two, four or six will start with a 3.8-mile canoe trip down the Trinity River spillway, then finish a 2.5-mile run and end with a 12-mile bike ride. Water park lifeguard certification will be offered at the Denton Natatorium, 2400 Long Road. The American Red Cross certifies participants in: lifeguard training and water park lifeguard training, first aid, blood-borne pathogen training, oxygen administration and CPR for the professional rescuer.
