Center to keep youths creative for spring break

SCRAP Denton is hosting “Camp SCRAP Spring Break,” a three-day camp that will teach creative reuse for ages 6 to 12.

The camp will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from March 11-13, and those who register by Feb. 28 pay $95. After Feb. 28, registration costs $105.

Campers will learn how to create something useful out of discarded materials.

SCRAP — which stands for the School and Community Reuse Project — has everything from fabric to office and crafting supplies donated for resale, as well as regular workshops and camps. The camp takes place at SCRAP Denton shop and boutique, 215 W. Oak St.
