Zumba classes are offered at both Denia and Martin Luther King Jr. recreation centers for ages 15 and older. The first class is free. After the first class, classes cost $5 each, or $30 for 10. Classes are from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Denia, 1001 Parvin St.; and at the King center, 1300 Wilson St., from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Denton’s Mud Volleyball Tournament will start at 9 a.m. May 17 at North Lakes Recreation Center, 2001 W. Windsor Drive. The tournament involves six-on-six double-elimination battles. The top three teams will receive medals. Teams may have a maximum of 10 players, but at least two female players must be on the court at all times. Registration costs $130 per team. The summer indoor soccer league is a coed league with age divisions for players ages 4-11. Practices begin the week of May 28, and games are played on Saturdays. Late registration ends Friday. Cost is $70. For more information and to register, visit www.dentonparks.com or call 940-349-7275.

The girls volleyball league is for ages 7-14, and girls may register as a team or as individuals. Practice begins the week of May 26, and games begin May 30-31. Adults can register for Denton’s adult softball league. Late registration ends May 16, and games begin the week of June 9. There will be eight games, including playoffs. Youths 6 and older can swim on the Denton Dolphins Swim Team, beginning May 27. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards continuously. New participants will try out May 20-22 — parents can call 940-349-7275 to schedule a time. A parents’ meeting will be at 7 p.m. May 15 at the Denton Natatorium, 2400 Long Road. Cost is $155. Ages 10 and older can go horseback riding from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 18 at Black Mustang Ranch at Lantana Resort, 2200 FM1192 in Pilot Point. Teens ages 13-17 can go without a guardian with a signed waiver. The trip will begin and end at Denia Recreation Center, 1001 Parvin St. Cost is $45 per person. Go on a night hike from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. May 17 at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center, 3310 Collins Road. An Elm Fork Master Naturalist will guide the hike. Cost is $3 per person. For more information and to register by Wednesday, visit www.dentonparks.com or call 940-349-7275.

Summer camp registration is now open. There are all-day options for ages 3 1/2 to 15 at four Denton Parks & Recreation locations around town.
