UNT piano trio slates free show in series

The University of North Texas College of Music's Center Piano Trio will perform a free concert later this month as part of the Lewisville Lake Symphony's International Chamber Series. The performance is set for 7:30 p.m. March 17 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5500 Morris Road in Flower Mound.

The Center Piano Trio is three international musicians of varied concentrations.

Lejing Zhou, a cellist from Shanghai, began playing at the age of 12 and is pursuing his doctorate at UNT.

Hao Miao, a violinist from inner Mongolia, gave his first full recital at age 11 and has studied in Shanghai, Germany and Ukraine. He is working toward his artist certificate at UNT.

Pianist Marcin Parys of Poland has been lauded for his sensitive touch and ability to bring the works of Frederic Chopin to life. He is working on his doctorate at UNT.
