11 a.m. to 2 p.m. -- Local Music History Harvest, a scanning day for the UNT Music Library's Local/Independent Music Initiative of Texas, at Emily Fowler Central Library, 502 Oakland St. Music fans and collectors can bring in photos, handbills, programs and other flat music memorabilia (up to 25 items, 8.5 by 11 inches in size or smaller) to be digitized. Digital files will be delivered to the patrons on flash drives, and patrons are encouraged to donate the digital and/or physical items to LIMIT for archival purposes. Keep Denton Warm Campaign Friends With Benefits, a local nonprofit fundraising group, is collecting donations of gently used or new socks, gloves, hats, coats and other winter clothing on behalf of Our Daily Bread. Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum Denton County's 1896 courthouse features rotating exhibits on county history.
