Corinth resident Karla K. Morton, Texas’ 2010 poet laureate, and Alan Birkelbach, the 2005 state poet laureate, have seen their joint project, “No End of Vision: Texas as Seen by Two Laureates,” open at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History in Bryan.

The exhibit is inspired by a book by the same name, which combines Morton’s black and white photography with poems written by Birkelbach.

The book is a 2012 international Indie Book Award Finalist. The “No End of Vision” exhibit includes 18 framed photographs and 18 panels with the poems they inspired.

Morton will travel to Bryan to speak at the museum’s Boonville Days Living History Fair at 1 p.m. Saturday. Both poets will also speak at 2 p.m. Friday at the museum. The exhibition runs through Jan. 13.
