The Denton County Republican Tea Party will have a Lincoln-Douglas-style debate at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Denton Senior Center, 509 N. Bell Ave.
Candidates invited to participate are District 64 representative candidates Myra Crownover and Mike Brucia; District 106 representatives Pat Fallon and Amber Fulton; district judge candidates Sherry Shipman and Derbha Jones; tax assessor/collector candidates Michelle French and Marc Moffitt; and state Senate candidates for District 30 Craig Estes and Jim Herblin.
Each candidate may ask their opponent three questions and the opponent will have three minutes to answer each question.
The public is invited to attend the forum.
