Hall 70th Anniversary

Robert and Eloise Hall celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends.They met in Lubbock when Robert was a glider pilot and Eloise was attending Texas Tech.

Robert and Eloise exchanged vows February 6, 1943 when Lt. Hall was stationed in Laurinburg-Maxton Army Air Field in North Carolina. He served as a glider pilot in North Africa and European theaters during World War II.

Eloise retired as an elementary school teacher from Denton Independent School District. Robert retired from the Texas Education Agency and formerly taught Distributive Education at Denton High School. After retirement, they did volunteer work. They worked at FEMA for eight years.

Their three children are Pat Marshall, Bobby and Mike. They have four grandchildren and six great grand children.Robert and Eloise enjoy family and friends and they are members of Denton Bible Church.
