Dale and Janet met on a blind date at then NTSU.Dale completed both his undergraduate and masters programs at NTSU, and Janet completed her undergraduate at NTSU.A year later they moved to Tallahassee to complete graduate work at Florida State University where Dale received his PhD and Janet her Masters. They left Tallahassee with a tiny infant in arms for Dale to begin a 35 year tenure at NTSU.Their second daughter arrived a year later. Both daughters completed undergraduate work at TCU.Shannon continued on to Duke University for a Master of Physical Therapy and recently completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at TWU.Holy completed both her masters in counseling and student services and PhD in Curriculum at UNT.

Our unique claim to fame is that we went from 1 grandchild to 5 in less than a Year.Holly had a son and two years later she gave birth to twin boys. Not be outdone, less than a year later Shannon had boy/girl twins.Eight years later Shannon had our last granddaughter. The grandkids keep us happily involved in all their activities, and they indulge us in our planned activities with them.

God has truly blessed us with 50 wonderful years filled with loving family, work, retirement, and lots of traveling.
