Shirley and Tom Royster of Denton, Texas and Don Wheatley of Tow, Texas are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter Teresa Janell Wheatley to Henry David Young, both of Washington, D.C.The couple married Saturday October 20th at the Wildwood Inn with a reception afterwards.Rabbi Heidi Barron Cortez of the Hillel of Dallas performed the ceremony.

Teresa is the granddaughter of Bobbie Ickes of Georgetown, Texas.She is a 2001 graduate from Denton High School, a 2005 graduate from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at American University in D.C.She works in the Office of Alumni relations at American University.

Henry is the son of Michael and Jessica Young of Chicago, Illinois and the grandson of Shirley Edelman of Highland Park, Illinois.He is a 2005 graduate of Tulane University, a 2011 graduate of University of Illinois College of Law and currently works as an attorney at the United Sates Department Commerce.

The wedding party included maid of honor Lindsey Miller of Denton, Texas, bridesmaids Lisa Bell of Washington, D.C., Amy Wozniak of Washington, D.C. and Laura Salisbury of Toronto, Canada.The best men were Dave Carr of Chicago, Illinois and Mike Lamb of Washington, D.C. and the groomsmen were Josh Przyborowski, Erich Vonderhaar and Seth Wainer each of Chicago, Illinois.

The newlyweds plan to honeymoon in New Orleans and Jamaica.They will reside in Washington D.C.
