Bomar-Holmes Wedding

Hannah Kathleen Bomar of Denton and Clinton Allen Holmes of Rosenberg, Texas, were married on November 16, 2013, in Canyon Lake, Texas. Deacon Dan Pagnano, of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Houston, Texas, presided over the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Patti Walker of Denton, and Jack and Barbara Bomar of Flower Mound. She is the granddaughter of Jack and Joni Bomar of Denton, the late Marjorie Bomar of Denton, the late Nelson and Mary Elaine Sullivan of Denton, and the late Margaret Proctor of Gilmer, Texas. The groom is the son of Stephen and Deborah Holmes of Rosenberg, Texas, and the grandson of the late Francis and Darrell Pace, and the late Luvine and Mary Ann Holmes.

The maids of honor were Allison Gorman and Lindsey Gorman. The best men were Sean Foley and Larry Bittner, Jr. Junior attendants were Taylor Gray, Regan Gray, and Harrison Gray. Readers were Luke Bomar and LouAnn Holmes Gray.

The weekend’s events took place at the Hideout on the Horseshoe, overlooking the Guadalupe River. The wedding ceremony began on the river at sunset and was adorned with trees full of fall leaves in every color. The couple said their vows under a rustic arbor, hand-made by the bride’s stepfather. The reception occurred beneath a star-filled sky. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner filled with warm words and close family and friends.

Hannah graduated from Denton High School in 2001, and attended Texas A&M University where she completed a degree in Biomedical Science and Spanish in 2005. She attended Physician Assistant school at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and graduated in 2009. Since that time, she has been employed as a surgical oncology PA at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.Clinton graduated from B.F. Terry High School in 1995, and attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, where he studied environmental engineering, played football for four years, and graduated in 2000. After serving his country for ten years, Clinton returned to Houston where he completed his MBA at the University of Houston. He is now employed as a private charter pilot for Gulf Coast Aviation and additionally owns an aircraft cleaning company.

The couple honeymooned on the island of Hawaii and returned to Houston, Texas, where they have made their home.
