Carroll A. Caddell and Carolyn Mires were married on February 10, 1961 in Burleson, TX. They have three daughters; Lou Ellen, Karen and Atha, along with three sons-in-law and four grandchildren.
Their children treated them to a special dinner at Bailey's in Allen on January 30, 2011.A road trip is planned to celebrate their anniversary.
During their marriage they served in the Army, operated a dairy farm, served as a United Methodist pastor for 35 years, and they are now enjoying retirement at their farm near Krum.
