Robert and Weida Scott of Corinth, Texas will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family trip scheduled for July.The couple married April 29, 1961.
Robert retired after 43 years of service from Raytheon, formerly Texas Instruments, in 2002.Weida retired from Raytheon/ TI with 38 years of service in 2000. The couple are active members of First United Methodist Church of Denton. Both enjoy travelling. Since retiring, they have been to Italy, Germany, Canada, Alaska and Cost Rica. Both stay active in church activities. Robert enjoys golf and Weida enjoys bowling.
Robert and Weida have one son, Marc Scott and wife, Margie of Greenville, Texas and one daughter, Lea Ann Griffin and husband, Steve Griffin of Denton, Texas. They are the proud grandparents of Matthew Griffin of Denton, Texas.
