Chuck and Ruth Greene, high school sweethearts, were married June 27, 1951 in Paris, OH.
Chuck served with the USAF during the Korean conflict. He flew commercial for 57 years, thirty of these with Braniff Airlines. After Braniff seized operation, they spent two and a half years in Saudi Arabia flying for a member of the Royal Family. He also flew for Airlift and was an instructor and FAA designee for America West Airlines. The last eleven years were spent flying for Ameristar Jet Charter. Ruth is a graduate of TWU and pursued a nursing profession.
They have two sons, Trey and Terry, both residing in Denton County; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. The couple are members of the Cross Timbers Church and plan a trip to Europe for their anniversary.
