Carrie Marie Hoogerhyde and Brandon Joel Clark of Grand Rapids, MI will marry on September 24, 2011 at St. Alphonsus Church, Grand Rapids, MI. A reception will be held at the Thousands Oaks Golf Club, Grand Rapids, MI.
Bill Hoogerhyde and Sherri Attala, both of Grand Rapids, MI are the parents of the bride. She is the grand-daughter of Wedot & Herb Attala, of Grand Rapids, MI, Katherine (Deceased) and Dave Hoogerhyde, also of Grand Rapids, MI.  Carrie is a 2010 graduate of Michigan State University, holding a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in 2005 from Western Michigan University. She is currently in her first year of D.O. residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
Brandon is the son of Mark & Debbie Clark, Denton, TX and the grandson of Vernon (Deceased) and Wanda Welch, B.T. "Sleepy" (Deceased) and Marie Clark (Deceased), all of Denton, TX.  Brandon is a 2002 graduate from Billy Ryan High School in Denton, TX and a 2010 graduate of Michigan State University, holding a Master of Science. He received a Bachelor of Science at the University of North Texas in 2007. He is currently employed at Amway's World Headquarters in North American Logistics in Ada, MI.
