Gary and Patti Allen of Krum are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kirsten Joyce Allen to Cody William Griffin of Ada, Oklahoma. The couple married June 11, 2011 at the Wildwood Inn in Denton. The officiating minister was Reverend Brad Cockrell. A reception followed at the Wildwood Inn. Harpist, Courtney Hauck, provided the music for the evening ceremony.

The bride is the granddaughter of Glen and Joyce McConnell of Pernell, Oklahoma and Rhoades and Jean Allen of Denton. Kirsten is a 2007 graduate of Krum High School and a May 2011 graduate of East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Kirsten is currently employed at ONB Bank & Trust Co. in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The groom is the son of Richard and Cindy Griffin of Ada, Oklahoma and the grandson of the late Gayle and Carrie Griffin of Fittstown, Oklahoma, and the late Floyd Beebe and late Bobbie Layne of Ada, Oklahoma. Cody is a 2005 graduate of Latta High School in Latta, Oklahoma, and a May 2011 graduate of East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sciences. He currently attends Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Maids of Honor were Cassie McConnell, cousin of the bride, and Rachel Brown, friend of the bride. The Best Man was Brandon Hatton, friend of the groom. Other attendants include bridesmaids Makayle Alexander, Jessica Bowman, Brittany Shelton, and Nichole Griffin. Serving as groomsmen were Chasen Bennett, Tyler Gray, Dave Pardue, Donny Walker, and Garrison Allen. The junior bridesmaid was Julianne Allen, sister of the bride. The junior groomsman was Joseph Acord, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Audrey McConnell, cousin of the bride. The guestbook attendant was Taylor Acord, cousin of the bride and program attendant was Jacob Acord, cousin of the bride.

Kirsten and Cody currently reside in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
