Ronald and Patricia Blocker of Sanger, Texas are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Sara Blocker to Adam Murrell, both of Sanger, Texas. The couple married Saturday, May 19th, 2012 with a ceremony at the Edgewater Beach Condominiums in Miramar Beach, Florida. Samuel Blowes was the officiating minister and a reception at the same location followed with a dinner and live music.

Sara is the granddaughter of Sara P. Blocker and the late Bobby L. Blocker and Mary J. Gautney, all of Geneva, Alabama. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas and works for Lewisville Independent School District.

Adam is the son of Bill and Karen Murrell of Denton, Texas. He is the grandson of J. H. and Tina Thomas of Lewisville, Texas and the late Bill and Betty Murrell of Sanger, Texas. He graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and is currently attending Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, Texas working toward a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

There was a rehearsal dinner hosted by Adam’s parents at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Danielle Jordan served as the Maid of Honor and Evan Murrell served as the Best Man. Bridesmaids included Jessica Hammonds, Erin Murrell, Sara Sadau Ross and Krista Weaver. Groomsmen included Danny Daniels, Brett Grover, Kevin Perry and Hunter Poole. Ryan Aycock and Jason Weeks were the ushers.

The newlyweds celebrated their nuptials with a honeymoon at Sandals resort on the Caribbean Island of Antigua and now reside in Irving, Texas.
