Chloe Victoria White and Preston Klay Dodd of Krum, Texas were married June 8, 2013 at The1899 Farmhouse in Princeton, Texas. Dr. Jeff Williams of First Baptist Church in Denton, Texas performed the ceremony. A reception followed at the 1899 Farmhouse Wedding Venue in Princeton.

Parents of the bride are Rusty & Katherine White and Vickie White-Bradley and husband Steve Bradley, all of Krum. The bride's grandparents are Henry & Janet Seeligson of North Dallas and David & Barbara White of Southlake, Texas. Parents of the groom are Kenneth & Kay Dodd of Krum.The groom's grandparents are Denney & Susan Dodd of Krum, Texas and Ed and Pat Watson of Portales, New Mexico, and the late Jean Watson of Krum.

Chloe is a 2009 graduate of Krum High School, and a 2013 graduate of the University of North Texas. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority while at UNT and completed her internship with the Texas Motor Speedway Game Day Productions. Chloe is currently employed with Borden, Inc. while searching for employment in the field of event planning.

Klay is a 2009 graduate of Krum High School where he was all-state in basketball and led the golf team to its first state appearance. He received a scholarship to Seminole State in Oklahoma where he played golf and led the Trojans to the National Golf Championship Tournament his freshman and sophomore years. Klay will graduate from UNT in 2013 and is currently employed by Borden, Inc. while looking for employment in golf course management.

The rehearsal dinner, given by the groom's parents, was catered by Ernesto's Fine Mexican Cuisine, and was held at the 1899 Farmhouse Wedding Venue in Princeton, Texas.

The outdoor wedding was spectacular, with the weather cooperating beautifully!During the ceremony, the bride and groom took a moment to combine sand from two small vessels into a large one, symbolizing the combining of two families.

Maid of honor was Haley White, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Jessica Hesse, and Miss Baylie Brown, both longtime child and high school friends; Miss Katy Dodd, a longtime friend, teammate, and sister of the groom;Miss Carissa Gutierrez, a college friend, sorority sister and roommate; Miss Allyson Needham, a sorority sister and friend;and Mrs. Lauren Griffith, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Kiera Griffith, 2nd cousin of the bride.

Best man was Mr. Derek Howell, a longtime friend from middle and high school, and college roommate. Groomsmen were Mr. Kooper Dodd, brother and friend of the groom;Mr. Mac Coffey, a longtime friend from high school and college; Mr. Karson Daniel, a college friend and golf teammate;Mr. Victor Cristales, who attended all 13 years at Krum with the groom and a college friend;Mr. Cody Barksdale, a longtime friend and golf teammate in high school; Mr. Dillon White, a longtime friend and brother of the bride. Jaryd Kemp, Colton Head, and Tyler Walker, all longtime friends and basketball/golf teammates from Krum High School served as ushers.Ring Bearer was Ryder Page, 2nd cousin of the bride.

Kelly Dodd, sister of the groom, was the greeter at the wedding, handing out bottled water and programs to those in attendance. Baylie Brown, one of the bridesmaids, sang"A Thousand Years", a song with special meaning to the couple.After the ceremony, guests enjoyed barbecue from PapaBrothers Catering while dancing to music supplied by DJ Steve "Skorch" Bottley. After munching on the bride and groom's cakes, the newlyweds were greeted by 4th of July Sparklers as they made their exit.

Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple now resides in Denton, Texas.

Chloe and Klay were high school sweethearts from KHS in 2009 and the happy couple wishes to thank all who were involved in their most special day!
