Sarah "Katie" Hammond and Keith Knoll of Denton were married Saturday, July 19, 2014at 6:00 p.m. in Aubrey, Texas. Randy Bland officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Julie and the late David Hammond. She is the granddaughter of Sarah and the late John Heffley, Sr., and Leon and the late Billie Jean Hammond, all of Denton.

The groom is the son of Brenda Knoll of Denton and Ray Knoll of Norton Shores, Michigan. He is the grandson of Stella and the late John Joseph Sibson and Carolyn Knoll, all of Michigan.

The outdoor ceremony was at a ranch where Katie's father had been employed and enjoyed working. Katie wore a floor-length strapless dress of satin, sequins, and lace, a veil and lace train, and cowboy boots that matched her groom. She carried yellow sunflowers and baby's breath with a photo of her dad in a locket tied to the flowers. She carried her Dad's love and memory in her heart. Her older brothers, Ross and Chris Hammond, escorted Katie to the altar on their father's behalf.

Bridesmaids were Erica Knoll, sister of the groom, Deidra Reynolds and Lyndsey O'Neal, friends of the bride. Jr. Bridesmaid was Riley O'Neal and Flower Girl was Reese Reynolds.

Groomsmen were Rickey Rhodes, Mike Morris, and Trent Lawler, friends of the Groom. Ring Bearers were Parker Reynolds and Matthew O'Neal.

Usher was Scott Heffley, uncle of the bride. Music during the ceremony was provided by cousins of the bride, Annie Heffley, played keyboard & Joseph Heffley played saxophone. Erin Whitmore, girlfriend of Katie's brother, Ross, created Katie's special wedding to remember as the wedding planner.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Margaritaville at Pensacola Beach, Florida.

Katie is a Denton High graduate, a 2012 UNT graduate, and is employed as a First Grade Teacher in the Prosper ISD.

Keith is a Guyer High graduate and is employed at Peterbilt.

The Hammond-Knoll families give thanks to God for blessing Katie & Keith's wedding with warm sunshine during their vows, a cool breeze during the reception-dinner-dance, and the love of family and friends on that beautiful summer evening in July.
