It calls for a big cast, big hair and big fun as overweight and outspoken teen Tracy Turnblad aspires to be a dancer.

Today’s recipe requires no heating the stove to prepare.
The recipe comes from Peggy Capps; it will be served at the first book review of the fall at the Denton Woman’s Club in September.
Parmesan walnut salad with poppy seed dressing
• 4 cups field greens
• 1 cup walnuts, chopped coarsely
• 1/2 cup dried cranberries
• 2 ounces shaved Parmesan cheese, bought or shaved with potato peeler
Poppy seed vinaigrette
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
• 1/2 cup honey
• 2 tablespoons water
• 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Directions:
Mix greens, walnuts, dried cranberries and Parmesan in salad bowl.
Whisk dressing ingredients in a separate bowl. Drizzle dressing on salad at serving time.
Serves six to eight people. Makes more dressing than you need.
Put in refrigerator for later use.
