10:30 a.m. to noon — Denton Christian Women’s Connection presents “Starting Anew in the New Year” at Denton Country Club, 1213 Country Club Road in Argyle. Featured speakers are Tonya Harless, owner of Time to Kiln, and author Grace LaJoy Henderson. Cost is $15. Reservations are due by Jan. 13.
