1000 block of Fulton Street - A woman reported to Denton police Friday night that her ex-boyfriend threw her cellphone on top of a high school gym after a basketball game.
The victim told police that she went to the basketball game and let her 2-year-old daughter sit with her father, who was also at the game.
When the game ended, the woman reported that she was outside with a friend, waiting for her ex-boyfriend to bring their daughter back to her.
The ex-boyfriend saw her talking with another man and became jealous, cursing at her, she told police, adding that he then forcefully removed her cellphone from her hands and threw it on the roof.
The woman's ex-boyfriend then pushed and kicked the other man before leaving, according to the report.
Officers made arrangements with the school to get the cellphone off the roof Monday, the report stated.
