Blotter: Assault reported at area rehabilitation center

A senior citizen allegedly assaulted one of his roommates at an area rehabilitation center in the 2200 block of Brinker Road on Thursday morning, according to a police report.

The victim was a 68-year-old man, and the case is still pending, the report stated.

2200 block of North Carroll Boulevard — A police officer was dispatched on a domestic disturbance call Thursday morning after a 24-year-old woman reported being stalked by an abusive ex-boyfriend. The woman told the officer that her former boyfriend had been walking up to her door and calling her on the telephone frequently. No arrests were made.

3000 block McReynolds Road — A Sanger woman reported that her debit card was used without her consent Thursday afternoon.

* Denton County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers handled 756 service and officer-initiated calls for the agencies they serve. Forty-one people were booked into the Denton County Jail.

* Denton police handled 295 service and officer-initiated calls and posted 23 reports online.

* Denton firefighters responded to 20 medical calls, two gas leaks, one water leak, one road freight or transport vehicle fire, two public service calls and one vehicle accident.

* Lewisville police officers made 10 arrests.

Argyle firefighters responded to one medical call and one vehicle unlock. Argyle police officers respond to one harassment report, assisted one motorist, responded to one suspicious vehicle and made 18 traffic calls.

Aubrey firefighters responded to one traffic transport, one vehicle unlock and one medical call. Aubrey police officers assisted one agency and responded to one follow-up investigation, one missing person call, one narcotics call, two traffic calls and one vehicle complaint.

Bartonville police officers responded to two follow-up investigations, one loose livestock call, one road block and one traffic call.

Double Oak firefighters responded to one vehicle unlock. Double Oak police officers responded to one gun shots heard call, three traffic calls, one agency assist and one animal complaint.

Hickory Creek police officers responded to one assault or sexual assault call, one suspicious vehicle call, one theft report, seven traffic calls and one animal complaint.

Justin firefighters responded to one medical call. Justin police officers responded to one domestic disturbance report, two traffic calls and one vehicle complaint.

Krum firefighters responded to one traffic transport. Krum police officers responded to one follow-up investigation and one animal complaint, assisted two motorists and two agencies and responded to one narcotics call, one suspicious vehicle call, four traffic calls and one welfare concern call.

Lake Cities firefighters responded to one assault or sexual report and four medical calls.

Little Elm firefighters responded to four medical calls and one structure fire. Little Elm police officers responded to one agency assist, two arrests, one assault report, two disturbance calls, one missing person, one noise complaint, 15 traffic calls, one welfare concern, two traffic transports and two road blocks.

Oak Point police officers responded to one reckless driver, one suspicious activity call, two traffic calls and one animal complaint.

Ponder police officers responded to 10 traffic calls.

Pilot Point firefighters responded to one downed power line, one medical call and one vehicle unlock. Pilot Point police officers responded to one downed power line, one traffic call and one welfare concern.

Sanger firefighters responded to one alarm carbon monoxide call, one medical call and one traffic transport. Sanger police officers responded to one agency assist, one burglary report, one domestic disturbance, three follow-up investigations, two suspicious activity calls, three traffic calls and one traffic transport.

The Colony firefighters responded to three medical calls and one odor/smoke removal.

Trophy Club firefighters responded to one inspection call. Trophy Club police officers responded to two follow-up investigations, two suspicious activity calls, 16 traffic calls, one vehicle complaint and one animal bite report.
